Vitor Belfort: It May Be Hard To Believe I Can Get Better, But I Will

Middleweight contender Vitor Belfort is looking to get back into title contention and since a loss to Jon Jones at UFC 152, he has strung together three solid performances in the Octagon, defeating Michael Bisping, Luke Rockhold, and most recently, Dan Henderson.

When he returns to action in his next bout, the former UFC Champion tells MMAFighting.com he will be even better:

“I’ll be even better when I return to the Octagon. I know it’s hard to believe that I can get even better than this, but I will. I’ve been training hard, and there are a lot of things that I haven’t done yet. My best is yet to come.”

Belfort also talked about a possible rematch with Anderson Silva, who knocked him at at UFC 126:

“It’s important that you accept the facts,” he said. “He surprised me with a kick, and a true champion needs to accept what happened. We can’t control the results, but I can control what I will do about it. The last fight doesn’t mean that the next fight will end the same way.”

  4. im a fan of vitor’s but hes a moody little shit when it comes talking about his TRT use. and he wont admit thats why hes on a role in the octagon.

  5. He’s surely on the juice

  6. Why does he only want to fight in Brazil. Come to the States and fight, but you’ll have to test first.

  7. Pretty sure I read somewhere that his post fight testing showed he didn’t dope against Hendo.

  8. It’s not hard to believe; they’re making better steroids all the time.

  9. I see nothing wrong with him taking TRT. it’s NOT illegal. When it becomes Illegal…Then people have a legit bitch in the matter.

  10. TRT use is NOT STEROIDS. It is replacement therapy. As adminsitered by a doctor, it should give you levels of the hormone relative to a normal person.

How he got to a point of neednig it…that is a better question.
