Opening Betting Odds Show Anderson Silva Is Favored Against Nick Diaz

UFC President Dana White rocked the MMA world on Tuesday when he appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter and announced Anderson Silva vs. Nick Diaz will take place at UFC 183 on January 31, 2015.

The five round middleweight bout will take place during Super Bowl weekend from Las Vegas.

We’re still 6 months out, but BestFightOdds.com has already released the opening betting odds for the fight.

Anderson Silva is listed as a -350 favorite or(2/7), while Nick Diaz is the underdog at +318 (159/50).

A winning bet of $350 on Silva would a $100 profit, while a winning bet of $100 on Diaz brings in a $318 profit.
