Archive: CFZ 10-4 w/ Mark Coleman & Kevin Randleman!

The following is from MMANEWS.COM:

The October 4, 2006 edition of CFZ Radio is now online. The show started off this week with host Luis Cruz bringing on Matt Boone from MMANews.com again to fill in as our regular co-host Seth Petruzelli is busy training for his fight against Matt Hamill at UFN “The Final Chapter” this coming Tuesday on Spike TV.

From there it was time to welcome our first guest to the show. The pioneer of ground and pound joined us, as we brought on Hammer House leader Mark “The Hammer” Coleman. Coleman discussed his upcoming main-event fight with PRIDE Heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko at the PRIDE U.S. debut show on October 21st. Coleman also discusses the Shogun/Chute Boxe situation, Phil Baroni's Hammer House status and fight with Frank Shamrock, PRIDE rules for U.S. show and the fact this fight isn't for the title, possible UFC return and thoughts on their expansion recently, plus tons more!

From there, we were surprised as Kevin Randleman called in, after almost missing the show. Anyone who has heard Kevin Randleman in a good mood, multiply that by fifty and you get this week's interview with “The Monster”. Randleman discussed his recent near death experiences, multiple surgeries, why he'll beat Shogun, why he's better now than ever, rumors about him returning to UFC earlier this year and his thoughts on the company now, the beef with Chute Boxe and what he would have done if he was there, plus a ton of other subjects – too many of which to briefly list here.

If that wasn't enough to salvage a technically destroyed show (behind the scenes leading into the live run) our regular co-host Seth Petruzelli stopped by to discuss his fight on Tuesday with Matt Hamill! Petruzelli broke the fight down practically position by position, discussing his strengths and weakness (not a mistake on the non-plural form there) against the stand out deaf wrestler off Ultimate Fighter 3.
