According to a number of Brazilian sources and media outlets, Rickson Gracie has accepted a lucrative offer worth more than a million dollars to fight Japanese legend and Gracie nemesis Kazushi Sakuraba.
Several sources indicate that while that was certainly not the only reason, it was an attractive option that helped lead to Sakuraba making the decision to jump from PRIDE to the K-1 HERO's promotion.
If true, negotiations certainly aren't completed and this is nothing more than something the promotion hopes to put together. Whether or not it actually comes off is a whole different story. But apparently Rickson has shown interested, and is rumored to have agreed to some kind of terms (at least financially) so the biggest stumbling block, if the rumor is true, is out of the way. The rest remains to be seen.
