Street fighting legend turned MMA super-draw, Kimbo Slice could be making his way back to the sport.
Reports this week suggest that Slice has been in talks with Bellator FC about potentially returning to the cage. Slice has not fought in MMA since 2010, a UFC loss to Matt Mitrione. Following his stint in the UFC he fought seven times in the boxing ring, winning all seven of his bouts.
MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani reached out to Slice’s manager Mike Imber who explained what is going on at this point:
“They had reached out to us,” said Imber. “however, it was very informal and nothing has been decided.
“You know Kimbo is down to fight whenever. There’s actually a few options out there, so whatever makes most sense I think he’s gonna with.”
