Breaking News: Jon Jones Injured, Cormier Bout Moved To January 3rd

Fans looking forward to watching and finally settling their issues in the Octagon will have to wait longer than originally planned.

The news broke on Tuesday afternoon that Jones suffered an injury, forcing the Jones-Cormier bout to be postponed until January 3rd.

According to various reports, Jones suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee and a sprained ankle while doing some wrestling training on Monday.

As a result of the injury, vs. for the UFC Flyweight Championship has been moved from the co-main event of on August 31st to the main event of on September 27th.

Jones-Cormier will now headline on January 3rd in Las Vegas, Nevada.
