Buentello Follows Up, Claims Overeem Bout Is Off


After an initial rumor reported here at MMANews.com, which was soon thereafter confirmed by one of the combatants himself, Strikeforce “Triple Threat” on December 28th was to be headlined by Paul Buentello vs. Alistair Overeem.

Buentello posted a message on the Underground forum confirming the then only rumored bout, but today posted the following message claiming the fight is now off:
