Clay Guida Vs. Anthony Pettis Expected For UFC 130 Or 131

It looks like there could be a number one contender bout for the UFC Lightweight title on the horizon as has learned from their sources that a bout between Anthony Pettis and Clay Guida is in the works for UFC 130 or UFC 131.

Pettis had initially earned himself a crack at the title by winning the WEC strap during the companies last show but lost the shot when Gray Maynard and Frankie Edgar fought to a draw.

The two will now fight in a rematch leaving Pettis out in the cold but fortunately the contender will either get a chance to solidify his spot in the lightweight division or pave the way for Guida to make his case for a shot at the title.

Both fighters are riding win streaks with the winner likely to get a shot.
