Henderson was also the busier fighter, landing 17 of 46 total strikes to 12 of 32 for Franklin. Round two was fought cautiously and on near even terms, as Franklin had the edge on the feet (10 strikes landed to six for Henderson). A Henderson takedown, followed by four ground strikes kept it close. Round three was all Franklin, as he outlanded Henderson 30-9 in total strikes, 19 of which were power arm strikes.
