Rich Franklin W 3 Wanderlei Silva – Franklin the more efficient striker, landing 47% of his total strikes, while Silva looked the for ko with each attempt. 107 of their 153 combined total strikes landed were on the feet. The loss was Silva’s fifth in his last six fights.

Cain Velasquez W 3 Cheick Kongo – The undefeated Velasquez went the distance for the first time in his six fight MMA career. After absorbing several Kongo-Bombs, Valesquez successfully smothered Kongo's attack , scoring six takedowns, which led to a total of 176 ground strikes landed among his 184 total strikes landed. Kongo managed to land just 40 of 84 total strikes all night. Kongo landed 82 strikes in the first round of his ko win over Mustapha Al Turk at UFC 92.

Dan Hardy W 3 (spl) Marcus Davis – Davis had a big first round, outlanding Hardy 31-12 in total strikes. Hardy buzzed Davis late in the first. Hardy had the slight statistical edge in round two, dropping Davis with a knee to the chin. Round three was a statistical toss-up, with Hardy landing a good left hook late in the round.
