As everyone knows Kimbo Slice will make his UFC debut tonight, sort of, when he enters The Ultimate Fighter House on Spike TV for the 10th season of the show but what people may be forgetting is that in his last fight Kimbo was KO'd in 30 seconds by a former TUF contestant in Seth Petruzelli and now, according to “The Silverback” himself, the UFC is bringing him back. Petruzelli made the following comments on the UG earlier today after Slices appearance on ESPN:
I did have respect for you, after our fight you said I was the better fighter. There were 3 times that we could have fought after the Elite(XC) show for you to get a rematch, but you declined all 3 times. Now you go on ESPN making excuses, saying the only reason you lost was that it was sprung on you the last minute and that you can beat me with one hand behind your back!!!! You can go F yourself…maybe now that the UFC is having me back we will see for sure.
Should be interesting to see where this leads and if it could be indication that Slice didn't far too well in the house. It could also mean that this fight may take place during the TUF 10 finale in December.
The only certain thing at this point is that it's all speculation but according to Petruzelli the UFC is looking to get him a fight and a rematch like this could do good numbers for the UFC. Kimbo equals money and they can build this match up. The only problem with the scenario is the same thing that happened to EliteXC. Kimbo loses again.
