Dan Henderson Now Number One Contender For Middleweight Title

With the announcement of the signing of Vitor Belfort and with it being noted that he will face Rich Franklin at UFC 103 in September, people need not worry about what will happen with Franklin's first opponent for the card, Dan Henderson.

Today during the UFC press conference, UFC president Dana White announced that Dan Henderson will get another show at the UFC middleweight crown against Anderson Silva.

When the match up takes place was not determined but White made it clear that Dan Henderson will be next to fight for the championship.

The two have fought once before with Silva walking about victorious, choking out Henderson in the second round.
