Dana White Fires Back At Nate Diaz Over “Cowboy” Cerrone Comments

Controversial UFC fighter Nate Diaz recently took a shot at Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone on Twitter, writing “Some people just suck way too much UFC d-ck. And they where cowboy hats.”

While Cerrone, who lost to Diaz in their 2011 fight, did not respond to Diaz’s comments, UFC President Dana White did. In an interview with UFC.com, White said:

“Nate can do whatever he wants to do. Nate can sit out and not suck any UFC whatever, for as long as he wants to. Who cares, he’s a grown man. Sit out for as long as you want, sit out the rest of your career, it’s your decision. But to start making fun of guys who actually like to fight, and guys who go out there and put on unbelievable fights and people love to see him? [Cowboy] steps up and does what he does. People love ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone.”

“Cowboy” Cerrone picked up an impressive head-kick knockout over Jim Miller on Wednesday’s UFC Fight Night 45 event (Video).
