Despite “Mismatch” Claim, Zazulak Stops Carter In First

After a war of words that started right here on MMANews.com between MFC and HCF concerning what HCF president Keith Crawford called a “mismatch” between Shonie Carter and up and comer Brad Zazulak, Zazulak would be the last one laughing after stopping Carter in the first round via TKO at MFC 14 “High Rollers” last night.

Other winners from MFC 14: High Rollers were:

-Ray Penny def. Dwayne Lewis – Unanimous Decision Round 3
-Ryan Jimmo def. Nick Goetz – 0:44 Round 1, Tapout due to rear-naked choke
-Jason Kuchera def. David Lainof – 0:23 Round 1, TKO
-Dan Ferguson def. Josh Kyrejto – 2:51 Round 1, Tapout due to guillotine choke
-Sean Wright def. Dave Logan – 0:42 Round 1, Tapout due to guillotine choke
-Gavin Neil def. Jason Zorthian – 2:20 Round 1, Tapout due to triangle choke
-Jason Biggeman def. Kevin Dolan – 4:51 Round 1, TKO
-Troy Sorenson def. Randy Valette – 2:33 Round 2, Tapout due to armbar

The Maximum Fighting Championship capped a terrific 2007 year with High Rollers – its fifth show of the year and seventh straight sellout crowd. The MFC will return for its first show of 2008 on Friday, February 22, at the River Cree Resort and Casino with MFC 15: Rags to Riches.
