Frankie Edgar will look to start 2013 on a good note after a disappointing 2012 seen him lose the UFC Lightweight Title but on February 2nd he has a chance to dethrone UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo when the two meet on Superbowl weekend.

Edgar released a video blog this week discussing the bout and gave notice to Aldo that he's coming for him:

“[I'm] getting ready for this fight, February 2. Make sure you guys check that out. UFC 156 – superfight with Jose Aldo. You know, I'm hearing he's doing some video blogs in Portuguese saying I'm not gonna make it outta the first or second, third round whatever the case may be. Homeboy's got something coming though.”
