Rashad Evans defeated Quinton Jackson via unanimous decision at the UFC 114 event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in what appears by CompuStrike standards a virtual blowout.
CompuStrike stats show that Evans landed 45 out of 74 total strikes (61%) across the 15 minutes in the fight. By comparison, Rampage only landed 23 out of 56 total strikes (41%).
Evans also got the advantage in the ground action, out-scoring Rampage in the takedowns category, 3 to nothing. On the ground, Evans landed 13 out of 24 strikes (54%) to Rampage's 4 out of 6 (67%) strikes.
Rampage secured the only recorded knockdown of the fight for either guy, which nearly made all other statistics irrelevant. Evans was able to tough things out however, going as far as to win that same round on two of the three judges scorecards.
