Weidman didn't earn shit, I don't remember Dana ever saying that the winner of the Munoz Vs Weidman fight was a #1 contenders match. This entitlement complex of his, and strategic use of getting surgery when he did is all his attempt to jump ahead of the pack. His reccord isn't impressive, he knows it.

i agree.
i think some of the problem is how the UFC handled weidmans victory over Munoz in the post fight show pretty much declaring him the next crack at Anderson. I thought they handled it bush league but who knows ....maybe that is where some of the entitlement comes from. At the time, I thought there were plenty of fights that could have happened to give Chris another fight before the title (which I believe is much needed). Boetsch and belcher had not lost at that time....now things have changed especially with weidmainjury. There are contenders that have come over from sf that mix it up even more.. Bisping has lost and some other victories are in the mix too. I know rockhold comes from a lower org....bit he's right up here now too. Luke will likely get a fight before weidman is ready to go again....but that's the fight I really want to see. If weidman is so confident that he can beat Anderson, he shouldnt have any problem getting past whoever they choose to put in front of him (if it goes down that way).
