I wrestled and I have helped coach wrestling. Let me tell you if you could punch in wrestling stalling wouldn't exist. Plus stalling is an issue in wrestling due to let's say a guy gets up 5-0, gives up a takedown, and basically turtles up for lack of a better term because he knows he is gonna win. The kind of stalling that you are refering to, in my opinion, does not exist when the guy that is getting stalled upon can punch the stallee in the face. That's just my opinion though, and understand/respect that yours is different. By the way, I know that stallee isn't a word, at least I don't think it is.
