Because
turning down a fight against an opponent who is smaller than you, at best only had 3 weeks to prepare for a 5 round fight (while you've had a full camp), is primarily a decision fighter who doesn't really possess the ability to "catch" you with a lucky punch/sub, and is coming off a loss....
... makes you look like a coward.
