Yeah I'm not sure I understand why this is apparently a huge mismatch. Obviously Ryan is the underdog, but it's not like Pearson is a top 10 (or even top 20 tbh) lightweight.
Couture just fought (and was gifted a decision) a competitive fight with KJ Noons. I don't think Pearson is really a tougher match-up than KJ.
LW is a pretty stacked/talented division. Not really a lot of "easy" matches to make for him...
