I'm no expert, but as far as I know, TRT is basically intended for older men (40+, as far as I understand). I understand other rare circumstances come up, but when a 24 year old who is in much better shape than most of the world is cleared to use TRT, red flags come up.
Also, Hendo maintains that he keeps himself tested and is always within accepted levels of testosterone in his system. Take that for what it's worth, but he has never been popped for elevated levels, and he is old.
I'm a sports purist and would prefer it be banned altogether in competition, but it isn't. And hendo's case is the most acceptable I've seen.

It just seems that when a fighter comes out and says he uses TRT for whatever reason (legally) everyone slams them (which is fine by me. If you can't compete without using TRT then it's time to retire). But when it comes to Hendo using TRT it's ok because he's old and everything else. That's were I see a double standard.
