Would Rampage have been a multi-millionaire if he wasn't successful in the sport to begin with? He was whoopin ass before the UFC knew he was. He built his name off of his fighting style, his knocks outs, his slams etc etc.
Lets call a square a square both the UFC and Rampage made money off of eachother just like when you clock in for work everyday. The company you work for is pimpin that ass making money off of your hard earned labor and as a result you get a biweekly check.
Neither Rampage nor the UFC owe eachother shit. He applied for the position, got the job, worked his hours and both parties got paid and its just that simple.
