Well they haven't announced Silva/Weidman yet.What are they waiting on? The results of UFC 158. GSP beats Diaz like most expect, his next challenger is obviously Hendricks. But Hendricks looses, there is no clear #1 contender for the WW title. Yes yes, Weidman is the best candidate for the next shot at the MW title right now, but some feel he could use another fight before challenging Silva (especially factoring in his injury layoff). Factor in the rumors of the UFC getting into New York in the next few months, and you've got Dana White and Co. with a money boner at the thought of GSP/Silva headlining MSG. I think the biggest fight in MMA history against arguably the best fighter in UFC history on a stage like Madison freakin Garden would be too much for GSP to pass up.
