Jeez. Talk about recency effect. A lot of people were considering Nate to be one of the strongest contenders for GSP after he beat Woodley and after he had one bad performance against Saffiedine, he is now a layup? Give me a fucking break. Nate is still a great well-rounded fighter.
I would've rather that they kept the Hendricks and Ellenberger fight and did a Nate/Condit fight instead. The reason is because if Condit beats Hendricks, it will have a similar scenario to HW, where there is no clear contender as Condit just got beat by GSP and an immediate rematch wouldn't make much sense. I think if Ellenberger fought and beat Hendricks instead, he would have had a strong claim as the new #1 contender.
Nonetheless, I will still enjoy both of those fights.
