This is based on criterion C: "A fighter is ranked in the division where they have had their two most recent consecutive fights. This could be two actual fights or one actual fight and a scheduled/planned fight. For example, Frankie Edgar is a FW since he had one actual FW fight and plans to continue in the division."
There could be a possibility that Sonnen fights for the LHW title, loses and goes back down. Who knows. This could be realistic scenario if Anderson loses to Weidman.

Why Aoki is so damn low? Mousasi is very low too.
As for women P4p, how is that Megumi Fuji No. 5??? She should easily be No. 1 or in the worst of cases No. 2 |
Jacare really suffers from not beating worthy competition. His talent easily says that he would be in the top 10, but until he starts beating top competition, it'll be tough for him to crack or maintain the top 10 position. This was Lombard's case when he was on a huge winning streak.
Aoki is now becoming the same case where everyone is jumping over him, especially when he's getting killed when he faces top 10 nowadays.
Mousasi is like Jacare, in my opinion. His loss to King Mo and draw with Jardine hurt him badly.
As for Megumi Fujii, she was #1 in my opinion more than a year ago, but since then lost to Aguilar who was unranked or at the bottom of the top 10 at the time.

Don't mind me lol. |
At first I was wondering what you were talking about with Mir. Glad you clarified it. Regarding Carwin, I completely agree. His last win was in March of 2010! This was the reason we had criterion D, which automatically booted him out.

I'm not sure how people ranked Struve before, but he wasn't in my top 10. Both Struve and Hunt are beating people outside the top 10. When Big Nog beat Travis Browne, Browne was ranked #9 or #10, which warranted him staying in the top 10. The problem is that Big Nog is barely active, so his ranking is quite soft ranked and he's coming down slowly. Hunt on the other hand is solidly ranked where he is. A win over a top 10 shoots him up.
