And this is just like Shamrock-Ortiz, everyone claims they're no longer interested until they see them walking to the octagon and await the horn to sound the first round. This fight is very interesting, a lot of the reasons why have already been covered. Mainly to see where they stack up compared to their last fight, and in the case of Forrest a win would do him some good things at 205. He's legitimized himself losing a controversial decision to Tito Ortiz, giving him a very tough fight - something only top guys usually do (not to be confused with just a boring - going the distance fight). A win over Bonnar still helps Forrest, and with 205 being thin right now, could propel him right back to the mix with Ortiz, Liddell, Vanderlei, Babalu, etc. I'd actually like to see Forrest/Babalu if he beats Bonnar again - or actually probably the Ortiz rematch first. |
I agree with you...as soon as they walk out and the fans go crazy everyone is going to be excited...I wasn't too exciterd for shamrock ortiz but wehen they were standing there face to face I was getting pretty pumped...I'm looki9ng forward to this fight just to see if there skills have improved from there last fight...and will it be as exciting...I'm taking griffin in knock out fashion late second round...looking forward to a greatfight though
