I didn't see Shamrock/Franklin fight, but the Hughes/Gracie fight was not fixed. Gracie's arm was nearly snapped at the elbow during that match and you can see Hughes straining with all his might to rip that joint in half. Gracie is just one Gumby-like fighter. |
I don't think they works either ,but I've heard people say they were.No serious claims though.The competition may have not been that well rounded b/c it was just starting out there were no fight camps or anything like that the whole purpose was to find out what fighting style works best in a real fight.Royce fought the best fighters of their craft.
