Kerr vs Fujita was huge, Kerr wold've won that GP IMO had he not had to face Iron Chin Fujita, not many people could eat Mark Kerr knees and Fujita ate them and bounced back.
It is on Pride TE 2004 and surprisingly you can find nearly every Pride DVD at BestBuy. You can probably get them cheaper on Ebay but if you want quality, get them from BestBuy they are $14.99-$17.99 each so it does et quite expensive quickly. I don't own any UFC tapes other than 43 and 44 adn that's becasue BestBuy had a package deal on those we just record all of the PPV after we order them but the Pride DVD's are great as those have a much better replay value than the UFC events IMO. |
Thanks for setting me straight on Igor Vovchanchyn.
On the other issue to touched on about the replay quality of PPV events between PRIDE and UFC, I totally agree with you. For some reason the PRIDE events are a freakin' spectacle while UFC PPVs seem sort of ordinary.
I know some people consider it "wrestling entertainment-ish" to have big elaborate ring entrances, but I kind of dig it. I saw one of the PRIDE events where they had the guys coming out under a huge screen and had those big-ass kettle drums playing. It definetly got my hyped for the fight.
It also seems to me that PRIDE has more "Motherfucker! Did you see what he just did?!?!" moments.
