I belive that Randy would have beat him the 3rd fight but as everyone can clearly see in the replay's that Randy slipped before taking the right to the chin. I believe that Dana babies Chuck. They continuously feed him fighters that are almost tailor made for Chucks abilities. Horn, Couture, Ortiz, Babalu, and White are all wrestlers or grapplers. NOT STRIKERS Yeah I know chuck's a purple belt in bjj, and yeah we all know his takedown defense is great and all, but none of those guyz were ever aggressive in initiating striking, they just threw to either 1. Set up a takedown which was painfully obvious every time or 2. Because chuck was throwing bombs and they had no choice. Take a guy like rampage....(and no i am not on the rampage bandwagon, i have been a fan of his since he powerbombed arona) He is a wrestler to but he has good technical boxing skills and an iron chin. If chuck got dominated by rampage, I could only imagine what would happen with Shogun, Silva, Hendo or any atleast any other decent strikers coming over from pride. I find it great because in all the media coverage before UFC 71... everone from his trainer to his fuckin dog was saing how he is injury -free he is in the "Best Shape of his Life" then gets rocked in about 2 mins...so that screwed all the excuses that they could have thrown out there to recover any of his shattered "unstoppable" aura. His reputation is shatterred. So in closing, thanks chuck for the good fights and everything you have done...just get dominated by silva and hang it up.
