Exactly he is the weakest Gracie so how better to introduce your brand of martial arts to the world than to send your weakest student that looks like a friggin bony ass librarian. If anything he was underrated at the time because noone watching thought for a second he had a chance. By the way it worked because just about EVERYONE in mma uses some kind of submission training in their workout. Whether its bjj, sambo, judo or whatever. Oh yeah Kimo WAY overrated.
