He beat Wandelie Silva for the titile. He then beat Yuki Kondo & Evan Tanner. He was to face Jeremy Horn, but Horn lost to Elvis Sinosic in a final eliminator, so he beat Sinosic. Then he beat Matyushenko who was/is an awesome wrestler with wins over Minotauro, Tiger White & Pedro Rizzo.
He then goes in against Shamrock for the most eagley awaited fight in MMA history at the time & whoops him.
Then Chuck Liddle starts spouting his mouth & everyone says he's avoiding him. Liddle takes on Couture & loses, therefore Couture gets the title fight. Tito takes on Couture & loses the belt, then takes on Liddle & get's his ass kicked.
I'm telling you now if Tito fights Babalu, Liddle, Silva, Crocop, Fedor & King fucking Kong they'll still be people saying he got fed cans or they were past their prime.
Anyway on to the point of the thread, in my opinion Tito is fighting Ken again because of the people on forums etc complaining that the second fight was stopped too soon. He pretty much said so when the crowd booed him after the fight. |
Tito fought Wand when he was a one deminional nobody.Why did Wand get a title shot when his last fight in the UFC he was absolutely domianted?
Yuki Kondo is much smaller than Tito and Yuki has never defeated anyone worth a damn except maybe Frank Shamrock,Evan Tanner is much smaller than Tito and Tito never gave Evan a rematch.I don't care what Elvis did he was in no way shape or form deserving of a title shot.Matyushenko is one deminional.Tito was spoone fed fights when he was champ his manager was Dana White he got title defenses against guys like Elvis Sinocic and Ken Shamrock when there were guys like Randleman,Chuck,Vitor,and Horn that he could've been fighting.
