I really dont care either way for Syliva. Dont hate him, dont really like him. But truth be told like a lot of other poeple have said, he will fight anyeone so I doubt he turned down this fight. It was probably Dana telling him no and wouldn't let him fight Fedor. And why should the UFC send someone to Pride? UFC has already sent people to Pride maybe its about time Pride sends someone to the UFC. It looked like for a second that it was gonna happen with Wandy but then Pride pulled the rug out from underneath that.
I like Pride a lot, I think for the most part their fights are more entertaining then the UFCs but I am getting sick of all this Pride bs. I am also getting sick of their fans that think Pride is by far the better oraganization. Hey how about the UFC sends Penn over to beat up Gomi again? or Hughes or GSP to bump up and beat the crap out of Henderson? Outside of HW I think UFC is stronger at all the other wieght classes. LHW/MW is a toss up with Wandy, Arona, Liddell, and Sobral. MW/WW I think is the UFCs cause Franklin would beat Henderson and I think Tanner would beat Henderson also. And LW belongs to the UFC, Sherk and Penn could go over to Pride and beat all of their LW. So when you look at it over all I think the UFC is the stronger organaztion. It just the HWs in Pride are so much better then the HW in the UFC that everyone is blinded by that.
