First of all i already said i put the champions on top because they were the current champions, that's the only reason Tim is where he is, not because i think he's better than the others below him obviously.
steelebone- Try actually debating them, saying they suck doesn't make any point in a debate for a rankings list.
Izzy- I believe Marquardt is that talented. One could argue some guys over him, like Silva, Loiseau, or Kang. I put him there because Loiseau just lost to the champ in dominating fashion, depending on their next fights Silva could pass him obviously if he beats Rich. Marquardt did beat a highly ranked at the time, Ivan Salaverry. Maybe not dominating but he won. Denis Kang will probably shoot up my list after his next showing if he stays as dominant. He owned Ninja in quick fashion and subbed Weir, so he's on the right track. Marquardt could cement his status on my list if he has a stellar year but he needs to start fighting higher opposition and more constantly.
Ortiz#1- I already explained my champion thing above. The reason i have Chuck above Silva is because Silva lost to Arona (barely beat him the 2nd fight) and Hunt (yea i know it was at heavyweight) while Chuck is on a 5 fight win streak you can't argue with because he ko'd all of them. Just because you might think Silva can beat Chuck doesn't mean he should be ranked above him, Chuck's been more successful right now. And if you say it's too early to have Forrest on, who would you put at #10, everyone you mentioned i have well ahead of him except Tito (#9) because he hasn't been active enough and barely escaped a close decision to Forrest.
These rankings change every couple of months and sometimes dramatically depending on what happens, but that's my explaination of those from early July, feel free to debate them with me but keep in mind a few events have past since then.
