Of course Dana isnt going to work with M1 much. Dana has worked long and hard to make the UFC into a legitimate sport, and a HUGE part of that is not allowing any corruption in the organization (like is definitely in boxing). Hes not going to hand over the reigns to some upstart Russian company in a country where the Mob runs absolutely rampant. It would be a MASSIVE blow to the sport. Even Pride probably had some works (see Takada v Coleman), and the Yakuza isnt as big in Japan as the Mob is in Russia.
A big problem with M1 will always be the legitimacy of the fights in it. I trust Dana to run fair fights, but I dont trust Finklestein or whever the hell is name is. If they have a fight in St. Petersburg, do you ever see Fedor losing a decision? I dont.
