I am a fan of both fighters, and I rely on evidence for facts not opinions. So I feel it necessary to point this out to all the people caught up in being Hughes haters or GSP "nut hugers". Hughes is the most dominant UFC champion. And while Georges sometimes looks to display the ability to possibly rival Matt's legacy, he needs to do a hell of a lot more if he wants to fill those shoes. |
hughes was the most dominant welterweight in ufc history...yes. BUT the ufc did NOT have the talent pool thay have now. hughes was built up by dana and the ufc. his nine defenses were against who? the most notable win..BJ..and that was because of a prayer that was answered! (straight from hughes himself)
fact: GSP is the better fighter...period.
