Pride fighters don't even fight top competition when not defending their titles. im sorry, but for Fedor, Coleman is a CAN! if Coleman happens to beat Fedor, he should be given a title shot without question. but then they'll probably argue, "it was in the US, not the same rules." yeah this whole fighter protection crap is BS and happens in both organizations. there, now someone has argued that point against Pride...LOL! |
I dont think pride is more guilty, are you kidding. Im glad they let the fight continue, the ufc stops to check cuts also. If they wanted to protect wandy they should have stopped the fight because of the cut. fedor has been injured , the coleman fight is just a tune up before he has to fight cro cop again. yeah the ufc champs fights are always for the belt. like franklin defending his title for the second time this year against a guy who lost his last 2 fights in pride. chuck has defended his belt 3 times since winning it. as a fan I would like to see the ufc let chuck defend his belt 3 times a year and have one fight out of his weight group just to make things more interesting for the fans. dana is doing a good job with the welterweight fights, but the other weight classes are pretty weak right now.
