What's up with the guys getting paid way more than everyone else in the company that want more money?

Machida is a much better fight than Ortiz/Evans II. I don't know anyone who wants to sit through that again. I do think Tito can beat Rashad, but I think Lyoto outmaneuvers him. It won't be exciting, because Tito doesn't like to be hit, and Lyoto is too deft to let Tito hit him, but I have no doubt Machida's hand will be raised at the end.

Tito does not need more money. Actually, I think money has blunted his edge and made him a shadow of his former self...more money would probably make it worse...Sure, he's a draw, but he's not a great fighter matched up with todays LHW's. I'm already certain Zuffa is paying Lesnar 100x what he's worth...they should stay away from paying fighters based on drawing power alone.

Arlovski deserves great fights and great money. Randy and Tito can both fend for themselves, in my opinion.

I'm willing to bet Belfort's in the UFC by March at the latest.

If Tito doesn't find an org willing to pay him what he wants he has to come crawling back to the UFC or take even less money (definitely not Tito-like)
If Tito somehow strings enough quality wins together to get another title shot, sure, give him a million for it. But Ortiz/Evans II is barely headline material for a UFN, never mind a million dollar PPV spot.

Good Riddance IMO
Mach isn't Machida's nickname...it's Sakurai's. But I agree with everything else you've said, except I don't think EXC wants Ortiz.
