You failed to mention, Sean hasn't finished a fight in over 2 years...his last stoppage? Human punching bag Joel Blanton, [8-7 career, TKO'd 6 times, subbed once].

The one standout fight Sean finished? A corner stoppage over a 19 year old Parisyan, [Sherk was 28 at the time], back in 2001. To give him credit, Sean also opened a cut on a 21 year old Benji Radach in 2002. Sherk was 29 at the time.

Against anyone even remotely B level and above, he grinds out the decision. Note, Manny Gamburyan--perhaps the only fighter in the UFC who can make Sherk look tall--took Sherk to a decision. Sean was 28 and had twice the fights that the 20 year old Manny had.

Sherk might have statistics that indicate he finished fights, but he doesn't have anything that indicates he finishes fighters.

He has more cans in his record than a goddamn grocery store.
