Sure the average UFC fight card isnt as strong as the average PRIDE fight card, but also remember a few things: the UFC puts out far more fights a year than Pride did, the UFC almost certainly has fewer fighters on steroids, and the UFC doesnt have organized crime involved with its operation. Personally I'd rather have more fight cards of slightly lesser quality than fewer fight cards, not to mention the other factors.
