Let me play devils advocate for a minute here.. Who won the fight?? Kimbo did.. Trust me, all the Kimbo supporters will forget all about what actully happened in the fight.. Im mixed about this fight.. I dont love Kimbo, but I dont hate him either.. I think he legitimatly wants to be successful in MMA and i dont fault him for that.. As far as the second round and whether or not it should have been stopped, well, yeah maybe.. But what if it would have been?? Those punches had shit behind them.. What if it was BJ Penn in the same situation hitting Sean Sherk?? Or Tim Sylvia baby tapping Fedor with those punches and it got stopped?? All hell would break loose.. People would bitch and moan for months.. I also think that the fight was stopped too early in the third, but at the same time I think Thompson was done with another punch or two.. Now dont jump on me as a Kimbo supporter or what not, just sharing my opinion.. We all know that the Elite XC show was a complete debacle..
