It is simple. Bonds hates the media so the only times you see him on tv or in the paper, he comes off as a jerk. Then reporters dig up all this stuff on Bonds and writes about it. But they don't write about how he buys out the left field blechers and fills them with under privledged kids or all the donations he makes every year.
Some people don't think for themselves and do what the media tells them to.
