hominick is one of those rare fighters where when he was fighting in the wec, people could say "send him to the ufc" instead of the other way around--he's 2-0 in the ufc and 0-2 in the wec. i guess he wanted to drop to his natural featherweight and go to the wec...his last ufc performance against gurgel i'm sure didn't incline joe silva to keep him at ufc lw. he's a good fighter but his biggest hole is his submission defence.
