Tito made the tragic mistake of thinking other people would stand with him and back him up when he battled with the ufc...and if the worst thing he did was demand to have more say in who his opponents were going to be and demand he get paid a fair portion of what the ufc was making off of his skills... then that makes him a smart strong-willed businessman - not a fool, a wimp, or a coward.
Tito surely is far from being a saint...but you have to give him credit for having some sense and some backbone.
And in the end it sure paid off for him...because he got to come back and sign a 3 PPV fight contract for better money than what he was paid before, got to coach TUF and prove his worth as a trainer (which is seriously got to be great for his own business by hugely promoting him and his training academy), and now he also gets a chance to headline and kick the crap out of Ken Shamrock on a ufc PPV - plus gets to spar 3 rounds with Dana as a bonus.
You at least have got to give him some respect for being the only guy in the ufc that could do that.
