of course M1 is going to say they did nothing wrong, that the UFC was the only wrong doer in the Fedor contract debaucle. This is the same garbage he has been saying since PRIDE and I still refuse to buy it. The clauses were one thing, but he doesnt mention where fedor requested something around 2 million per fight and the UFC just laughed in his face. Best fighter or not best fighter, if they hired him in at that much money the rest of the UFC's original stars would form a union and strike lol. You think chuck and randy are going to let Fedor stroll into their org and make 4 to 10 times more than them....uh no.
I think they UFC's biggest problem isnt the clauses when it comes to Fedor. I think they just want to make sure that once they get him, THEY decide when he leaves. I think they would bend on the sambo, and maybe even the champions clause, and the personal freedoms; I think they just want to OWN him literally. I think Fedor will fight for the UFC when Affliction dies.
FEG wont be able to pay him the money he wants, or well....let me restate that...FEG will offer him the money he wants, but the check will bounce. He could fight for a few other orgs but none of them really have top Heavyweights(althought we all know he's down to fight cans all day, it's his bag baby).
oh and he WOULD be UFC champion. He would submit Cock Chestnar(thank you fightlinker) faster than Frank Mir did.
