only explanation is okami is known as a semi boring fighter and dana is a business man.

leites has been exciting especially the fight with marqduart.

its the same reason lyoto, fitch etc etc all have to wait.

if there is a better business opporunity in another fight dana will take it.

in this case though i beleive dana thinks okami hasnt been exciting enough so he's making him wait.

even tho if you think about it, they could market okami as the last man to beat anderson silva. with leites im not sure what they plan to market, hes relatively unknown to casual fans where as okami has fought swick and franklin who are popular.

i think its cause hes somewhat boring or another explanation is dana might think hes a legit threat to dethrone silva so he keeps giving him fights hoping he will lose.

only way u will ever know for sure is if u ask dana
