Royce never fought either Marco Ruas or Oleg Taktarov. From what I've read, Horion actually tried to pass off Taktarov as a low level fighter, so that Art wouldn't sign him up. And Royce quit just before Ruas entered the UFC scene.

Second, Rickson never fought any of the greats of his time: Mark Kerr, Mark Coleman, or Marco Ruas.

Still, their achievement is unparallelled, and they opened the eyes of the martial arts world.
Mark Kerr, and Coleman would have been subed. When Coleman was dominating the UFC their were no Good JuJitsu practitioners. Both of them don't have good sub defense. In fact, a good match would be Kimo vs Coleman, I think Kimo would knock Coleman out IMO because he has a better stand up game and soso ground game from what I've heared.

Ruas would have gave Roycw all he could handle, I can't see Royce beating him at any time. Ruas is just too well rounded.
