It's the same reason Coca-cola makes Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite. I don't think Zuffa cares if you are watching either, as long as you are watching one of them.
That and like others said, some people don't have Versus. In Canada, anyone with basic cable gets Spike TV, but there is no Versus up here....we did however get the fight re-broadcast on our 3rd or 4th sports channel, the Score (and in HD....we get no HD Spike in Canada...no such thing as HD Spike up here), which is only available to people who purchase the next step above basic cable (like basic cable with extra sports and music and shit)
