Safest thing to do....download and install Firefox (fuck IE) and then get the AbBlock Plus addon....it will block all ads from all advertisers on every website you visit.
From CNN.com to ESPN to Yahoo to here...at MMANEWS.com
Also delete all temporary internet files and cookies if you haven't since this issue first started happening.
Although it appears you have heuristic protection on, better safe than sorry. (heuristic means that it looks for anything that looks like it might be a virus, and can even be in a compressed file....doesn't have to be a known virus, so can produce false positives)
