Aldo is tearing the FW division apart in impressive fashion but the FW division is eons behind the LW division at this point. Remember Brown the former king of the FWs was once a mediocre LW. I do agree as far as aldo is still raw talent and can get a lot better. Frankie has faced much better competition and the ufc lw division has way more talent then the wec fw. but using brown as an example does show that about comparing the division, but it does not shed light on aldo, he is clearly head and shoulders ahead of everyone, how good at lw would he be, who knows, but he destroyed brown just as easily as he did he lesser opponents and i had a feeling that he wanted to show that he could go the distance against faber, who he completely destroyed. One thing we do know is that he has supreme speed and precision. he is very explosive and has ko power in his hands, knees, and kicks. He is also very good on the ground from what his close teammates say. ya frankie has much better wrestling and could get him down but aldo is not just a good striker, he is an elite talent that could end the fight at any second.
