You cant say thalis Leatis was desrving of a rematch after that fight, and neither was MIA. Noone but Chael so far had even come close to beating silva in the cage, and he still got decisively finished.
since when do fighters get to claim that an opponent isnt worthy of a rematch or match? only since a.silva came along i guess. promotions have match makers for a reason and as a fighter you need to take the matches regardless. if you beat them once then you can beat them again right? i dont think anderson believes this considering he has only fought 1 rematch out of 31 fights. i believe he believes that they will come with a different approach and give him more trouble. not saying they will win but he doesnt want to give them the benefit and a chance.

I would not call those wins deserving of a rematch, thats like saying Randy Cotoure deserves a title shot now....Also, I specifically remember Silva saying that he was happy chael stepped up to the plate to fight him when the fight was first announced.
actually mia wasnt comming off a loss. he had just won a ud over dan miller. and your right about hendo. however dana and joe silva deemed him worthy and thats all that should matter. also at the time hendo was the only threat to a.silva having giving him his only lost round in the ufc.
and who cares that it was phalares 2nd fight in the ufc it was 10th overall mma match and comming in with a 6 fight win streak
